Today we are going to do English-speaking practice with a new Blue Rubber Ball.
Part 2: Vocabulary:
Grade verb /ɡreid/ --> 格付けする / 등급을 나누다 / xếp loại
to sort into grades.
Example:
Her job was to grade the
eggs according to size.
He was graded well.
Kick verb /kik/ --> をける / 발로 차다 / đá
to hit or strike out
with the foot.
Example:
He kicked the ball.

Throw verb /θrəu/ --> を投げる / 던지다 / ném
to send through
the air with force; to hurl or fling.
Example:
He threw the ball to her.
He threw it against a wall.
Bounce verb /bauns/ --> はねる / 튀다 / nảy lên
to cause to jump back from
a solid surface.
Example:
She
was bouncing a ball against the wall
He bounced it on the street.
Roll
verb /rəul/
--> 転がる / 구르다 / lăn
to move by turning over like
a wheel or ball.
Example:
The ball rolled through the
goalkeeper’s legs.
The ball bounced off a tree and
rolled into a nearby garden.
Upset adj /apˈset/--> 心を乱して / 속상한 / lo lắng, đau khổ
disturbed or distressed
Example:
Is he very upset about failing his
exam?
He looked upset.
Apologize verb /əˈpolədʒaiz/ --> 謝る / 사과하다 / xin lỗi
to say that you are sorry, for
having done something wrong, for a fault
Example:
I must apologize to her
for my rudeness.

Return verb /rəˈtəːn/ --> を返す / 돌려주다 / trả lại
To give something back
Example:
I have to return
the book by Friday.
