  Welcome to Natural English.

Today we are going to do English-speaking practice through story. Today Subject is Animal book.

Part 2: Vocabulary:

Rabbit       noun /ˈrӕbit/      -->      ウサギ     /      토끼  /      con th

Example:   

It had pictures of chickens and rabbits.  

She has a pet rabbit.   

Squirrel    noun /ˈskwirəl/   -->      リス  /      다람쥐       /       con sóc     

Example:   

It had pictures of squirrels and birds.     

He has two squirrels in his house.

Turn      verb   /təːn/     方向転換する   /     방향을 돌리다    /    xoay, lt sang     

to (make something) move or go round; to revolve.

Example:   

Then he turned to the second page.       

Turn left at the traffic lights.

Kangaroo     noun /kӕŋɡəˈruː/  -->    カンガルー /     캥거루   /      chut túi   

Example:   

Peter liked a baby kangaroo.

There are many kangaroos in Australia

Glossary    noun /ˈɡlɒsəri/   -->    用語辞典    /   용어 사전   /   li chú thích         

a list of words etc with their meanings.

Example:   

The book had a glossary at the end.

Part 3: Summary of the article:

Peter received a new book from his mother and it was about animals. Peter was an animal lover and was fun to get the book because it had many pictures of different animals like dogs, cats, cows, pigs, chickens, rabbits, squirrels, and birds. He was excited to learn more about animals. Peter liked especially a baby kangaroo and learned interesting facts about each animal in the book. The book also had a glossary at the end, which he read.  The book had thirty pages, and Peter spent hours looking at all the pictures on every page. He felt proud of himself for reading the entire book. Peter wanted to show the book to his friends at school.
